www.nwcallotmentassociation.com The interesting and informative site of the Northwest Counties Allotment Association (NWCAA), which acts as the regional body for the National Allotment Society (NAS). The Wirral Allotment Society are active members of the NWCAA.
www.nsalg.org.uk The National Allotment Society (NSALG) is the leading national organisation upholding the interests and rights of the allotment community across the UK. We work with government at national and local levels, other organisations and landlords to provide, promote and preserve allotments for all. We offer support, guidance and advice to our members and those with an interest in allotment gardening. The website also includes a section for the less experienced allotment holder on what you can do on your allotment on a monthly basis, plant profiles which give some background notes on the different types of fruit and vegetables available to grow, and a section on different gardening methods.
www.ari.farmgarden.org.uk Although the Allotment Regeneration Initiative project has finished, their website still contains the most useful Factsheets and information on a wide range of allotment related subjects such as: fundraising; toilets on allotments; health & safety; managing waiting lists; and non-cultivation issues.
