The National Allotment Society (NAS) is the leading national organisation upholding the interests and rights of the allotment community across the UK. They work with government at national and local levels, other organisations and landlords to provide, promote and preserve allotments for all. They offer support, guidance and advice to members and those with an interest in allotment gardening. The website also includes a section for the less experienced allotment holder on what you can do on your allotment on a monthly basis, plant profiles which give some background notes on the different types of fruit and vegetables available to grow, and a section on different gardening methods.
